Satair and Collins Aerospace Extend Global Distribution Agreement

Satair, a subsidiary of Airbus Services, and Collins Aerospace, part of RTX, have inked a four-year renewal agreement extending Satair’s global distribution rights for Collins’ electric, environmental control, and engine system parts. The agreement encompasses multiple Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, and Embraer commercial and military platforms.

Thomas Lagaillarde, head of product management for Satair, expressed satisfaction with the renewal, emphasizing the longstanding relationship between the two companies. He highlighted the significance of this second renewal with Collins, emphasizing the history of collaboration across various product lines.

Ryan Hudson, vice president of Power and Controls Aftermarket for Collins, underscored the importance of the agreement in providing world-class distribution support to global customers. He emphasized Collins’ position as a leading provider of electric power, air management, and engine control systems for both commercial and military aircraft.

As part of Airbus customer services, Satair holds exclusive or primary distribution arrangements for aerospace component manufacturers. The company supplies parts to multi-fleet customer airlines and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) companies. Moreover, Satair fulfills the material service support obligation for the in-service fleet of over 7,000 Airbus aircraft.
